This sign basically explained that the Tower of London was used, at some point, as a location where bodies that were thrown into the Thames was kept until they could have a proper burial. I just thought that it was funny that someone wanted to make sure that the sign did not state that it was the place where people would dress up to take care of the discarded bodies but actully it did a service in the past.
